Cross Border Anti-Human Trafficking

Cross Border Anti-Human Trafficking

Cross-Border Anti-Human Trafficking project is being implemented in the Rupandehi district, Nepal, bordering the Sunauli border of India. In addition to conducting surveillance activities across various border areas within the district, our project collaborates closely with Seema Sashastra Bal of the Indian police, Nepal Police, gram panchayats, local communities in both countries and other stakeholders. Together, we raise awareness about human trafficking and ensure their active participation in the rescue, repatriation, reintegration, and rehabilitation processes. Our initiative includes the operation of a safe home located 5 km from the nearest border area. This facility can accommodate up to 15 individuals at a time, providing comprehensive services such as counselling, legal aid, capacity building, skill development, and holistic rehabilitation and reintegration support for survivors and those at risk of trafficking.
